Have you considered a theme wedding as part of your wedding planning? OK, theme weddings do not have to be wacky, but the following ideas may at least get your thought processes working!
The Walt Disney Company has taken their commitment to weddings and wedding planning even further. Disney goes all out for weddings, allowing brides to ride to the ceremony in Cinderella’s carriage. Well, now a bride doesn’t have to just ride in the carriage to feel like a princess on her wedding day – she can dress like one, too!
Disney is working with bridal designer Kirstie Kelly to create gowns inspired by the famous Disney princesses – Sleeping Beauty, Belle, Jasmine, Snow White, Ariel, and (of course) Cinderella.
Meanwhile, a Minnesota (U.S.A.) minister now conducts weddings as an Elvis impersonator. Many brides and grooms hop on a plane to Las Vegas to get married by “Elvis,” but few could boast that they were married by the King in their own hometown. Now serious Elvis fans have another option.
These two stories exemplify most couple’s need to make their wedding unique. Some choose to add flair to their wedding by going “all out” on a theme. Yet the Disney inspired dress or the Elvis impersonator minister are ways that many brides and grooms can add a touch of whimsy to a wedding without having to do the entire wedding based on a theme.
Some couples find that doing an entire wedding based on a theme is overwhelming. For instance, a couple may love the tropics, but not want to get married on a beach or have tiki torches everywhere. However, adding a tropical flavor to the meal may be a way to incorporate a theme in a subtle manner. Others may find ways to incorporate a theme in the music or in the colors used for the wedding.

I think a theme is great as long as it does not take over the couples big day, saying that I cant wait to see some Disney wedding photos I just hope all wedding at Disney do not end up looking the same.
I hope brides manage to keep them personal.
